The international conference “Normativity and Contingency: Psychoanalytic and Philosophical Approaches” will be held in Nijmegen (Netherlands) on  November 5-6 and in Gent (Belgium) on  November 7-8. This will be the 6th annual meeting of the International Society for Psychoanalysis and Philosophy (ISPP) -Société International de Psychanalyse et de Philosophie (SIPP). During the four days of the conference, the tension between necessity and contingency will be analyzed from both a psychoanalytic and philosophical point of view.
